The Curacao Kite Foundation (Fundashon Fli Korsou) had a meeting with all the organizers and kite groups on wednesday.Some of the things discussed in this meeting were about the kite competition rules and this year kite program .Two rules has been adjusted. This involves the measuring of Jumbo Kites at the beginning of fly and after the fly. It is no longer be required to measure the Jumbo Kites after the fly. The other rule applies to the amount of time of the fly. A kite must stay at least two minutes, instead of three minutes in the sky to classify for a prize. Other rules were reviewed and stay as is.In the meeting with the representatives of 30 Kite groups all agreed with this new rules.The following is the Kite program for this year. More detailed information about some main events, such as International Kite Festival,The Curacao Cup, Kite expo, will follow.
